Well, it was a village win for the  Time Travel 2 Mishmash  on  POG 2+2 ! Yay! 😃 I just realized that my draft posts that I postpone posting until after the game completes later get put into my blog stream with the date they were written instead of the posted date. Well, I was day vigged D5 in the  Time Travel 2 Mishmash  on  POG 2+2 . But that's okay. I became vanilla last night after doing my final peek. It was a peek on a wolf, but that wolf was also killed overnight already, so my peek result didn't matter. It was actually probably good I was taken out. I wasn't completely cleared as villager from Kaze's flip. And I don't think I could do much else from here on out. I've been chatting on the Discord server for the game. It's been fun chatting with Butterscotch/VR, my friend from the MU game. She's been playing WW since 2005. A lot of the players have been around for awhile. It's cool to hear about their long-term friendships. I would like to play with them more, but I was telling them that the POG 2+2 software is difficult to use. I'm sitting here eagerly awaiting the start of D4 for the Time Travel 2 Mishmash on POG 2+2 . I received the n3 result as confirmedtroll is villager. Now I just need to post it quickly at the start of the day to make sure the info gets to everyone. Previous day went okay. I think we are doing well overall. I can't remember if I mentioned this in the previous post, but I discovered that Kaze13 is my partner. He made a post naming the 2 players I chose for a peek and said they are villagers. He also said that I'm probably a villager, so he did notice how I indicated my result about VR. I made a post with a list of all the clears from us and included him in there. He's been helping to push that list. I tried not to be too specific about how my role works because I don't want the wolves to know I have a partner. Just want them to have one target. Kaze13 was getting people to protect me if possible.

So the Blood on the Forums VI: Monsta Jam game on FoL ended already. I was executed as Saint, which gives town an automatic loss. Haha, no one believed me when I revealed my true role after replacing into the slot. 😃 Though I found out later that the player I thought most possible to convince, Marshal, was actually one of the evil minions. And PKR, who was supporting me and trying to get people to let me live, was also an evil minion. He was pretending to support me while also acting wolfy, thus making town people not believe him. I remember feeling grateful that he was helping despite the fact that it seemed like he was making things worse. 😃 Anyway, luckily App, who had my slot before, was okay. Originally it looked like the game really got to him and that he was super frustrated. He later said it wasn't quite as bad as he may have made it seem. He appreciate everyone being nice to him. Pigeon said a nice thing. He noticed that I replaced into a lot of games and said that if ...

Well, I gave in and replaced into the BotF game on FoL. I saw that they were still needing a replacement so decided to help out. I ended up replacing into App's slot, which is heading towards execution soon. And I found out that his role is Saint. If this role is executed, town just automatically loses the game. And apparently App was claiming Politician the whole time for some unknown reason. Never corrected his claim even after a Spy discovered he's fake. Anyway, I'm trying desperately to get people to see that I'm just being fully honest and putting all my cards out on the table. But it looks like it will be no use. I can't blame anyone because my Saint claim looks very suspicious. And again, there's hardly a reason why App would have gone with the Politician fake claim. I think he was trying to get scum to claim to him early on, and then later just didn't have the time and/or WiM to work on switching to his true claim.

It's D2 for the Time Travel 2 Mishmash on  POG 2+2 . EoD in about 25 minutes. This day was much better since quite a few people died and then the remaining players were split between West and East Berlin for the special historical scene. So a lot less posts to go through. It was ironic that my partner picked VoraciousReader to peek N1. She's my friend and partner from the Baldur's Gate 2 game. I had known her alignment as town there, and now I know her alignment is town in this game. Cool. 😃 I mentioned that I received the info on VR and people seemed to pretty much accept it. That's good. I tried to play down my role, so hopefully the wolves won't try to kill me off overnight. I still need to choose who I'm going to peek this night. There were some people already chosen in an event for a peek, so I'll have to choose someone else.

Okay, D1 for the Time Travel 2 Mishmash game on POG 2+2 just finished. Wow, that was just as overwhelming as the Baldur's Gate 2 mishmash. It was made worse by the forum software used on POG. It's so slow and antiquated. I don't think there's even a way to actually tag anyone. I just had to search for my name to see if anyone mentioned me. And I had to constantly refresh to see newer posts. I'm not sure I want to play any games there in the future. We'll see. I've pretty much decided I'm not going to play any mishmash games. Too big and overwhelming. And I get the impression that they usually go with the 12/12 cycle, so that's not very convenient. Like a mentioned earlier, I joined a new Forum Mafia game on the POG 2+2 site. It's called Time Travel 2 Mishmash . The mechanics actually sound pretty cool. And it's going to be a big game with 48 players. I'm going to try writing posts along the way and post them after the game is done. The Mafia and Werewolves game on SmashBoards finished up recently. That's the game Seth was hosting and that I had to sub out from due to my hectic schedule during Chinese New Year. It was a town victory, though it sounds like it got really toxic. And Seth didn't do very well at hosting, and eventually Osie took over. Perhaps it's just as well that I didn't play much of it. I joined a mishmash on POG (Puzzles and Other Games). POG is a forum on Two Plus Two Poker Forums  where they play Forum Mafia among other forum games. My friend Butterscotch from the Baldur's Gate mishmash on Mafia Universe plays there. She goes by VoraciousReader on that site. The mishmash is one about time travel, so I might be using my Kurisu Makise profile pic there.

While I was preparing for bed tonight, I had a thought about regrets. They are much easier to cope with when multiplied. The more regrets I have, the less any particular regret affects me. Is that a good or bad thing? Seems rather bad from the initial sound of it, but it does work as an effective coping mechanism to an extent. Which may be the reason people often just continuing going downhill once they've started regretting things. It also has the whole sunk cost fallacy going for it. Once a person has started gathering regrets, it already seems unlikely to overcome all of them, so it is easier to just stick with the status quo and continue down the current path. Otherwise, trying to change things means reviewing all existing regrets and coming to terms with them. Regardless, I feel pretty sure that gathering more regrets is not a good approach in the long run. However, I kind of feel that subconsciously I've been letting things slide by as a way to say nothing really matters,...

Well, it's my birthday today and I'm 35 now. I'm both celebrating and lamenting another year. 😃 Haha, never sure how to process a birthday. I'm happy for still being alive, but also regretting that I'm getting older and don't feel like I've done much. But perhaps things will change this year?

Oh, getting older... 😒 Joined Discord for ZeroBooks app for reading Japanese light novels. Started reading Classroom of the Elite Vol. 1 , the first in a light novel series I found out about on the ZeroBooks Discord. I looked at a few series I found mentioned, then was interested in the first chapter of this one where it talked about inequality and society and such. Lunar Festival event started in Age of Magic . I'm debating whether to do a clan event to give out the Maedb skin available for gifting. Trying to decide on a new profile pic. Considering using my real pic during my birthday. Haha. 😃

So the Your Turn To Die game on Forum of Lies finished up, so I've published the posts I wrote along the way. I didn't write as much as I had hoped, but at least this is a start. I hope to do more for future games I play. Anyway, in the end, I think most if not all the remaining players voted for me as Mastermind. I guess I can't blame them too much since there wasn't really anything to clear me other than I was alive at the end and the Mastermind was likely fake dead. I didn't vote for the correct person either. I thought it was Intensify since they had died but their body wasn't found later. And other clues seemed to eliminate most other people as possibilities. There was also the weird stuff surrounding their death, like the message saying their dead body filled our mind. I also think it was strange that the small objects found in the Main Office (the final room) were supposedly indicating the possible MMs rather than clearing people. I don't understand...

Sorry that I didn't post some earlier stuff. I think there was something I did want to post about, but I forget at the moment. The reason I'm posting now is that I just got done going crazy in the game. At first there was a bunch of confusion over who had the Sacrifice card. Chili was keeping up her act with the fake Sacrifice card. I already knew she actually got it from Jane's grave as a card from the previous chapter, but I was going along with the charade to see if she could get important info. I wasn't quite sure why she was keeping it up in the main game phase. Eventually the game host revealed info that pretty much gave away what was going on, so I explained more fully. And I guess we did figure out who likely has the real Sacrifice card for this chapter. So now it's a matter of avoiding voting for the true Sacrifice and picking someone else to vote for instead. At the end of chapter 1, I was the only person to nominate Amelia for execution, and she ended up being chosen for execution out of the 6 people nominated. I feel a bit guilty about that, but really I still think she was the best choice. Everyone thought the Sacrifice was Arctic and avoided voting for him, but it ended up being Jane. Interesting twist. 😀 People had almost voted for either Jane or Light for execution. Luckily people agreed that Amelia was the best choice. I think I'll survive again this chapter. We are now choosing the pool of people to move to the 2nd phase for the real vote on who to execute. There are certain special roles that make it somewhat strategic and requires social deduction. There was a discussion earlier about how a big group of players decided they wanted to kill off Gorta, which they succeeded in doing. People were discussing the justification for doing that. I was particularly interested in Geyde's viewpoint, which I think matches mine the most. Basically he doesn't feel good about doing something like that, but he can see how making a policy kill like that could be considered justified. Gorta consistently slacks off in activity for the games he joins. He always says he's going to do more and joins almost every game, but he rarely actually does much. Then he complains a...

Originally I thought I'd try grouping up with Marshal since I think he's someone trustworthy. Pretty cool! 😀 The special ability is basically an ultimate way to kill anyone I want. And toy with them a bit before doing so. Haha. 😀 I'm just not sure if there are any trials for murders in this game. It only mentions voting using another mechanism. But there are suppose to be deaths in this game, so I'm assuming I'll get a chance if I want. Though I've also considered just using the special ability in a room with all the players and then having fun with everyone. Maybe I'll do that default dance Geyde was doing all the time. Haha. 😀 As for my other ability, I'll probably try to copy Apprentice's passive first and then try others if he doesn't have one available. I've done some quick summary lists a few times, and I think I'm going to continue with that. I'll call these posts Bullet Journal after the method with the same title. I don't know exactly what the method entails yet since I haven't finished reading the book about it, so maybe these will change in the future. Start of Chinese New Year week with today being Chinese New Year's Eve. Noticing gender changes among FoL friends. Still enjoying time with Lemon Gang clan for Age of Magic . [REDACTED] from my old Mistborn  clan asked me for one of the special limited-time skins in Mobile Legends . I'm actually tempted to block them. Dealing with [REDACTED] is just really stressful. Starting to use the term "[REDACTED]" to indicate that I had to remove private info. Got this from some of the games I've been playing.

Okay, just going to quickly type up a list of things happening now or on my mind for today. Crazy shopping at Costco. Ayaya! Planning to set up Google Photos album for pictures to use for common topics on blog posts, like Forum Mafia or various other games. No need to keep trying to find a unique pictures each time. Joined Zharra's Lemon Gang for Age of Magic . It feels more welcoming than I expected. This could be better than I originally thought. Added webpage for Forum Mafia with my game history and profile links. I'll use this to share my game history with other players. Continuing to read Oathbringer . Professional situations are fairly calm for the moment. Trying to organize future plans.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention this. Zharra, my friend from Age of Magic , just PM'd today to ask if I'm ready to join her clan, the Lemon Gang. I hesitated for a moment because I was wondering if I preferred the Moon Alliance I'm in now. It's actually an alliance of quite a few different clans. The leaders have been good people, but the group isn't all that talkative. Still, I had been wondering if it might be better to stay with them. I haven't liked some of the coarse language I've seen on the Lemon Gang Discord server. Seems like they use bad language on a regular basis and for no good reason. But they are definitely more talkative. And I remembered that Zharra was a primary reason for me to return to Age of Magic . So I figured I should join her clan and see how it goes. Maybe the coarse language will be fine.

Instead of continuing with Dominion from the Awaken Online series, I decided to switch to reading Oathbringer , the 3rd book in the Stormlight Archive series by Brandon Sanderson . This comes after Words of Radiance and Edgedancer , both of which I read not that long ago. Both excellent books. And I can already feel from the first few pages that this one is going to be just as good, if not better. I really need an adventure like this again.
