Lost Whyspers

Okay, I decided I better just take another break from Forum Mafia for the next 3 weeks. There's too much chance for unexpected things to occur around the Chinese New Year, so I can't guarantee any consistent schedule. I already sent a PM to Seth about needing a replacement for the Mafia and Werewolves game on SmashBoards . I was struggling with deciding whether to try to continue playing with very little effort or just come out and tell him I need to drop out. I feel bad, but it's probably for the best. I did like SmashBoards much better than the other site Seth previously asked me to join. This group of players appears to be more mature. Some have played from 8 to 15 years. Wow! I hope that I'll continue playing for years to come. 😀 I'm also not going to sign up as backup for games at this time. That's still my preferred way to play, though. I think it is nice being able to skip the beginning of the game. And it's even better if a few people are already...

This is one of those times where I just ask myself if I need to go into hiding for awhile. Sometimes issues come at me suddenly and all at once. When I'm not prepared for this, I get overwhelmed and simply feel like hiding from everything. Right now the issues aren't all that big, but I'm already panicking about what's to come. It doesn't help when I feel pressure socially. Preparing for Chinese New Year coming up. Keeping up with family schedules. Playing Mafia and Werewolves forum mafia game on new site SmashBoards . Handling problems coming up in my professional realm. Wanting to read more. Feeling guilty about not studying Chinese for so long.

I had a couple minor emergencies come up today, so kind of busy resolving them. I hope to write more soon. Here's a small list of things I want to keep in mind. Eliminated in Baldur's Gate II Mish-Mash. Learned that my friend actually went through with creating a blog. Started another forum mafia game hosted by my friend Seth. Slowed down in reading lately, possibly due to disinterest.

I'm going to be starting a forum mafia game at Mafia Universe soon called  Baldur's Gate II . It's based on a D&D computer game and looks really detailed. It's a mish-mash with almost 70 players. It will have ITAs and events. I'm rather excited to see how it goes. I'll be doing draft posts along the way and holding them for publication after the game finishes.

I recently started trying out a new Android app called Bundled Notes . It is similar to Google Keep but allows you to group notes into bundles. This is something that I've always felt Keep was missing. I know they want to keep that app simple for quick note-taking, and they do have labels, but grouping notes really does make a difference. For example, I've started a bundle for blog ideas. This is a nice way to separate these ideas out from other notes for remembering various things. So now I can quickly jot down ideas for a blog post and then review this later when I actually have some time to write. This post itself started out that way. 😀 I'll keep trying out Bundled Notes and see how it works. Eventually I may switch over completely from Google Keep . Though I'm keeping that for now to handle quick notes and then transferring certain stuff over to Bundled Notes .

I started watching a Netflix series called Alice in Borderland that's based on a Japanese manga by the same name. I forget where I heard about it, but it's fascinating so far. It's about people who are somehow put into a real life game of life and death. I've watched 2 of the 8 episodes. I definitely want to finish watching the whole way through. I like how Netflix and other providers are doing more of these live-action mini-series on various books and manga and such. It's great Disney is doing more with Star Wars, too. I had finished watching season 2 of the Mandalorian and was pleasantly entertained.
